Overview
EngravedByLiz is a small laser-engraving studio based in Northwest Indiana. Every piece is made to order. These policies apply to all purchases made through our Etsy shop and our standalone studio site, which links to Etsy for checkout.
Custom orders & proofs
Every order includes a digital proof. We proof every piece — you approve the layout and photo treatment before we proceed. Nothing is engraved without your sign-off. If your photo won't reproduce well, we'll tell you before we proceed and help you choose a better image. Please upload the highest-resolution image you have (JPG or PNG).
Production time
Standard turnaround is 1–3 business days from proof approval to ship. Expedited Processing is available for US/domestic and international orders on request.
Shipping
Free shipping within the United States via Standard Ground (5–7 business days). Priority Shipping is available for US/domestic and international orders on request. International shipping is available on request — message us here, on Etsy, or on Facebook for a quote. We are not responsible for carrier delays, customs holds, or duties on international orders.
Cancellations & refunds
Before proof approval: full refund. After proof approval: 50% refund to cover materials and labor already invested; shipping is non-refundable. Because each piece is custom-engraved to your specifications, we do not accept returns for buyer's remorse. If something is wrong with your piece, message us — we'll make it right.
Satisfaction guarantee
If your piece arrives damaged or doesn't match the approved proof, contact us within 7 days with a photo and we'll re-engrave or replace it.
